MAG devices can use a portal rather than a phone-style app login. Portal access must match the device and subscription.
Before you begin
- A working internet connection and an updated device.
- Your subscription login or playlist in the format required by the player.
- Access to the official app store or the player developer’s instructions.
Setup steps
- Find the device’s MAC address in its information screen or on the device label. Share it privately with support when portal registration is required.
- Connect the MAG device to your network and open its settings.
- Locate the portal configuration through the menu for your model. On supported Linux models this is in the system settings.
- Enter the portal URL supplied for your device. Do not substitute an M3U URL in a portal field.
- Save the configuration and reload the portal. If the portal is blocked or empty, ask support to confirm registration and the correct portal URL.
If playback does not work
Check the full server or playlist URL for extra spaces, a missing port or a changed password. Confirm that the subscription is active and that you have not exceeded its allowed connections. Test one channel before making several changes at once.
When asking for help, share the device model, application name and the exact error. Do not post your password, playlist URL or device key in a public comment.
